Noteworthy ....Music!

There have been numerous studies confirming the benefits of music education
to the young child.
Research published in 2003 in the Journal of Neuropsychology
shows that the region of the brian involved in verbal memory is larger
in adult musicians than in those who are not musicians.
Earlier research, dubbed
the “Mozart Effect” shows that math and communication skills
for preschoolers and elementary school-aged children increases proportionately
with their experience and exposure to music education, and the most current
research from neuroscience laboratories strongly encourage musical experience
for newborns.
A love
and
appreciation of music is a gift that will remain with your child
throughout their entire lifetime.
